Ken Marino will star and Aasif Mandavi will co-star in NBC’s comedy “The Gates,” which follows the sometimes harrowing twice-a-day ritual of picking kids up from school.

Allison Janney will play the title character’s mother in the CBS comedy “Mom,” about a single mother, recently sober (Anna Faris, previously cast), who moves her family to Napa Valley.

“Daily Show” correspondent Larry Wilmore has joined NBC’s comedy “Joe, Joe and Jane,” which centers on a put upon children’s book author who tries to balance his needy wife with his needy co-author.

“Curb Your Enthusiasm” co-star Jeff Garlin will play the patriarch of ABC’s comedy “How the Hell am I Normal,” about a crazy family in the 80s whose youngest child may be the only sane one. Hayley Orrantia also joins the cast as the daughter of Garlin and previously cast Wendi McLendon Covey.

“Boy Meets World” spinoff “Girls Meets World” has found its girl – Rowan Blanchard will play Cory and Topanga’s daughter, Riley.

“Childrens Hospital” star Rob Corddry will star in ABC’s “Spy,” based on the British series about a nerdy computer salesman who is mistakenly recruited by a top level spy agency.
