PILOT CASTING

James D’Arcy has been set as the male lead in A&E’s “Those Who Kill.” Chloe Sevigny is already set as the female lead.

Haley Ramm will co-star in ABC Family’s “Terminales,” about a young woman with a terminal illness trying to realize her dream of being a reporter. 

Joshua Bitton has been set for a role in HBO’s “Criminal Justice,” which marks James Gandolfini’s return to HBO in a legal pilot based on a British series. 

Samm Levine, Sunkrish Bala and Chelsea Harris have all joined ABC Family’s “Phys Ed,” about a former jock (Ryan Sypek) who returns to teach at his high school and finds that nothing has changed. 

NEW SERIES CASTING

Greg Louganis is set as a judge for ABC’s celebrity diving series “Celebrity Splash.”

Pedro Pascal will recur as an FBI agent on USA Network’s new undercover law enforcement ensemble “Graceland.”

TV MOVIE CASTING

Oscar Winners Jennifer Hudson, Melissa Leo and Octavia Spencer, as well as “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland have signed on for roles in Lifetime’s sequel to their breast cancer movie “Five.” The sequel will focus on people with mental illness. 

SERIES CASTING

Daniel Buran has landed a recurring role on ABC’s “Nashville.”

“Breaking Bad” co-star RJ Mitte will appear on CBS’ “Vegas.”

Musician Glen Hansard will play himself in an episode of NBC’s “Parenthood.”

Elizabeth Peña is set to play Gloria’s mother on ABC’s “Modern Family.”

Jane Seymour will play BJ’s mother on Fox’s “Ben & Kate.”

Coldplay drummer Will Champion will play a drummer on HBO’s “Game of Thrones.”

Liza Weil is set to play Truly’s sister in an episode of ABC Family’s “Bunheads.”

Bridget Regan will play the beast’s former fiancé in an arc on The CW’s “Beauty and the Beast.”

Sam Page is set for a potentially recurring role on ABC’s “Last Resort.”

PILOT CASTING

 

Rhea Perlman will costar in TV Land’s pilot “Giant Baby,” which reunites her with her “Cheers” co-star Kirstie Alley, in the tale of a Broadway actress who is reunited with her adult son.

Dan Castellaneta and Mo Gaffney costar as the title character’s parents in ABC Family’s “Continuing Fred,” about a 20-something slacker who finds her calling teaching elementary school. 

Bradley Whitford is set and Marcia Gay Harden is in negotiations for ABC’s comedy “Trophy Wife,” which follows a former party girl (Malin Akerman) who marries a charming man with three manipulative kids and two judgmental ex-wives.

Rebecca Romijn will star in TNT’s “King & Maxwell,” about two former secret service agents who join forces to solve crimes. Jon Tenney is already set as the other lead. 

Chloe Sevigny is set for the lead in A&E’s “Those Who Kill,” which is based on a Danish show about a detective who investigates serial killers. 

Chris Klein will play a fictional version of WME talent agent Brandt Joel in Fox’s untitled pilot presentation based on Joel’s wife Nikki’s blog. 

Abhi Sinha has been set for a leading role in ABC Family’s pilot “Terminales,” based on a Mexican format about a woman with a terminal illness who dreams of becoming a reporter. 

 

NEW SERIES CASTING

 

Mike Colter and Warren Cole will recur on Fox’s serial killer drama series “The Following,” which stars Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy.

Broadway star Kyle Harris will recur on The CW’s “The Carrie Diaries,” which follows the teen years of “Sex and the City” character Carrie Bradshaw.
