SSN Insight: After their NBC series “Best Friends Forever” was given a quick cancellation last midseason, Upright Citizen’s Brigade alumns and real-life best friends Parham and St. Clair take another crack at the sitcom with this series in which they will write, produce and star.

George Lopez / Matt Williams / Latino Family Comedy Network

SSN Insight: This series will follow the pattern of “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” on TBS and more recently “Anger Management” on FX where 10 episodes are produced for a trial run with the network having the option to order 90 additional episodes.

The Whisky A Go Go

Logline: Drama chronicles the rags-to-riches story of the Maglieri famlly, owners of LA’s iconic Whiskey A Go Go which has been home-base to some of the greatest rock bands in history, includingThe Doors, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin and Red Hot Chili Peppers among others.
SSN Insight: This project was previously in development as a feature film, but is being converted to a television series with the goal of selling it to a cable network. The addition of Virgin and its strong ties in the music industry could help in securing music rights for the show.
